For over 65 years, JD Eckman has been building the infrastructure for tommorow in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Our company consists of many hard working individuals that have contributed to our success thoughout the years. We started as a small family owned road construction company in 1945, and have grown to over 400 employees, but still remain family owned, and employee focused. Originally founded by Jacob Eckman, later passed on to Jim Eckman, and now the 3rd generation; Mark, Michael and Virginia Eckman are continuing the JD Eckman legacy today.
JD Eckman is a full service construction company, consisting of many registered professional engineers, and estimators using the latest technology to get the job done properly and ahead of schedule.
Safety is a top priority at JD Eckman. We have a full-time safety department, that ensures the safety of our workers and the jobsite, and maintains OSHA compliance.
